  • Dear Alison,

At a recent social gathering I met a woman who I was talking too about my project (see web site http://www.dontjustsurvivethrive.org). She told me about your book and the next day I went out and brought a copy. Like you I have done extensive study. I have been married 3 times to ‘predators’. I am passionate about this issue to the point of obsession. Thank you for writing this book – I will be buying more and offering as gifts and prizes in the near future. I think it should be compulsory reading material in the education system. :)

    Kind regards,
    Belinda

  • Hi again Allison,

As far as I have discovered, the term psychopathy has been softened to “sociopath” and “borderline personality disorder”. This is just further brainwashing us, confusing the issue by sub-categorising, and again, softening the issue, assigning the behaviour as derivative of a person with a just few problems. This works to keep us ignorant, and in a nurturing role whereby our energy is ongoingly capitalised for their own ego and goal gratifications.

The point must be addressed that, psychopaths are not just law breaking criminals that are safely away in jail, they are among us, their actions are covert and have a great toll on our lives and they work to undermine and manipulate us, without our awareness. This in my opinion, is highly draining on the victim’s personal resources and equally dangerous to women and society as a whole.

Thanks again for you book. Good on you for addressing this issue. Stay strong and keep at it :)
